How to Crochet the Single Crochet Cluster I

Learn how to crochet the Single Crochet Cluster I stitch quickly and easily. It’s just one of many single crochet cluster variations that I’ll be teaching on the YouTube channel. Single crochet variations are great for when you want a tight material beyond the single crochet itself. In order to do this stitch you’ll need to know how to do the chain and the single crochet.

In order to make it easier, here are the written stitch directions:

Chain a multiple of 2 for the base

Row 1: 1 sc into 2nd ch from hook, *ch 1, sk 1 ch, 1sc into next ch, rep from * to end, turn
Row 2: ch 1, 1 sc into first st, ch 1, sc2tog by inserting hook into each of the next 2 ch-1 sps, ch 1, *sc2tog by inserting hook into same ch-1 sp as previous st then into next ch-1 sp, ch 1, rep from * ending 1 sc into last st, turn
Row 3: ch 1, 1 sc into first st, *ch 1, sk 1 ch, 1 sc into next st, rep from * to end, turn
Rep rows 2 & 3 for pattern
