Make Pom Pom
Take 10 inch length of cardboard and fold in half for 5 inch pom pom length. Wrap yarn around 40 times. Hold yarn in place and cut.
Cut 6 inch piece of yarn to thread between the card board piece and tie tightly around the yarn at the top of the board. Cut yarn at the bottom of the board.
Using long tail and tapestry needle, thread through stitches in top of hat then through pom pom sewing it in place. When secure, bind off.
