Cut 6 inch piece of yarn to thread between the card board piece and tie tightly around the yarn at the top of the board. Cut yarn at the bottom of the board.

Using long tail and tapestry needle, thread through stitches in top of hat then through pom pom sewing it in place. When secure, bind off.

  1. Love this! I tried to learn to crochet last year but couldn’t get my head around it… I think perhaps the thing I was trying to crochet was a little too complicated for a beginner though! This looks a little easier, I might give it a go!

Awesome! This is a very easy pattern that goes pretty fast because of the bulky yarn! Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  2. That’s amazing! I wish I knew how to crochet. Alas, I never learned.

  3. Gorgeous chunky pattern! I love it!

  4. I’ve got a friend who would love this!

โ€œHi! Just wanted to say that you did a GREAT job of explaining the HDC (half double crochet) edging for a single crochet blanket in your YouTube video. Thank you so much! God Blessโ€ - Donna M.
