Chains  Crochet Scarf Pattern

A Yarn Obsession With Heart Pattern

The Chains Crochet Scarf Pattern was originally an idea I submitted for publication. The magazine didn’t accept the submission, but I really liked it and thought it was worth putting out. So I self-published. This crochet scarf pattern has been one of my top attractors and sellers for the past 5 years! Too bad for the publication that thought it wasn’t worth printing. Goes to show, the powers that be, don’t know everything! 😉

The chains scarf is a beautiful easy crochet scarf that can be made for anyone on your list depending on colors used and length made. Make it wider or thinner, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that it’s fun, easy and super stylish!

When you make one, please share a photo at my Facebook Page so I can see!

  1. Isn’t it interesting how projects submitted to mainstream publishers that get rejected end up as top sellers when you self publish. The same can be said for the book industry. That’s why I’m a big fan of self publishing. You’ve done a fabulous job of establishing your brand and making a success of your business. I’m putting this pattern on my (extensive) “things I intend to crochet” list. Thanks for sharing it.

It’s so true! One of the main reasons I always encourage others to push through the “no’s” because it’s usually one or two people’s opinion and not reflective of the larger audience. Thank you so much Patrice for your kind comment and I’m so excited to hear that I’m on that Long things to crochet list. 😀

“Hi! Just wanted to say that you did a GREAT job of explaining the HDC (half double crochet) edging for a single crochet blanket in your YouTube video. Thank you so much! God Bless” - Donna M.
